Method of Preparation

Gulqand is a Unani dietary preparation in which fresh petals of flowers, commonly rose, are preserved in a base of sugar or honey. The mixture is kept under sunlight for several days until a semi-solid, aromatic preserve is formed.

• Mugawwi-e-Dimagh (Brain tonic)
• Mugawwi-e-Kabid (Liver tonic)
• Mugawwi-e-Meda (Digestive tonic)
• Mulaayin (Relieves constipation)

Dosage

10–30 g once or twice daily, preferably after meals.
